My 25th birthday was this year. & I would be lying if I said I wasn’t bummed about having to spend it inside all day due to the current world situation. But Max (my fiance) surprised me with the best surprise – a backyard pool party!
Max arranged this pool party with Cait, a close friend of mine that is also a coworker, whom I see every day now that we are the only two healthcare providers at our clinic location. She recently fenced in her backyard for her dog, so this was a great opportunity for our new pup to run around too!
Cait surprised me with a pineapple float to lay in the pool with, & her roommate Ashely bought these cute flamingo floaties for our drinks! My mother also shipped some little items like squirt guns & mini floats. The entire day was perfect!
My love language is quality time followed by gifts. Max went out of his way to organize everything for a fun filled party! It may have not been the way I imagined it, but his thoughtful planning behind this meant the most to me. He has always taught me to make the best out of any situation, & this party was one way of doing that. I was blown away with the entire day & can’t wait for it to be warm enough to go back!
