This morning we are flying to South FL for our Godson’s first birthday! How is it possible that he is already a 1-year- old?! Living 14 hours away from family, Max and I have been on our fair share of flights over the past few years. So I have definitely learned a thing or two when it comes to flying! In this blog post, I’m sharing my must have travel items. These are just a few items that I make sure to have with me anytime I fly.
Beis Carry-On Luggage
I didn’t know what a luxury carry-on felt like until my brother bought me this Beis Carry-On for Christmas last year! Not only is it quite literally the cutest luggage piece ever, but the practicality and functionality of it make it worth every penny. A few features I love about the Beis Carry-On include the cushioned grip on the trolley handle, 360 degree wheels, weight limit indicator on the side handle, and a lined pouch on the interior for dirty clothes or bathing suits. The lined pouch was a lifesaver on our honeymoon when we took one last trip to the beach right before our flight. To read about our time in Aruba, click here! It was such an amazing honeymoon spot!
Packing Cubes
Packing cubes will make organizing any suitcase so much easier. I have this set of packing cubes and use them to pack by type of product. I’m able to fit more clothing into my luggage using these and they match the beige luggage I have too! There are multiple sizes in the set and a variety of color choice options.
Jewelry Organizer
This roll-up jewelry organizer is the best! It has a few different compartments for each type of jewelry. On one end is a zipper pouch that I use for bigger earrings or bracelets. In the middle are 3 clips for necklaces with two drop-in pouches below them. I can put 2 necklaces on each clip and drop each one into a separate pouch to prevent tangling or damage. On the other end are two attachments for rings or earrings and I typically place studs or smaller statement pieces here. This is so easy to throw in my purse and has become very useful for weekend trips!
Portable Charger
If you’ve been on multiple flights, chances are you have been delayed at least once. Some airports {and planes} do not have electrical outlets or USB ports. And if it’s a packed flight, odds are, any electrical outlets near your gate are already taken. I carry a portable charger so I can charge my phone or AirPods in the airport or on the flight without worrying about the battery dying. This has come in handy for delays of a few hours! This portable charger is a great option if you are looking to buy one.
Hat Clip
I love to travel with a hat if I’m visiting a sunny location, but I do not like having to carry it around with me. This travel accessory is a magnetic hat clip that clips to any purse or luggage. This would make for a great stocking stuffer for anyone who loves to travel!
Beauty Travel Items
I always recommend taking travel bottles even if you have a checked bag. Unfortunately, luggage can get lost, so I make sure to have at least 1-2 days’ worth of face wash, serums, lotions, etc. in my purse or carry-on. TSA has restrictions on the amount of liquids that can be in a carry-on, so I use a travel set like this set on Amazon if the products do not meet TSA standards. I also bring this travel light-up mirror that is super slim and has multiple light options. The lid can be used as a stand to prop the mirror on any surface, making it perfect for makeup application practically anywhere.
Although I have not tried this makeup brush holder or beauty sponge holder, I think I will be purchasing these next! My brushes are mixed in my everyday makeup bag and end up damaged or dirty after traveling. These seem like great solutions!
